South Asian Business Association of British Columbia presented a cheque of $ 10,000 to Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Finance Minister of British Columbia Honorable Mike de Jong graced this ceremony.  South Asian Business Association of British Columbia so far has raised $50,000.

Two endowment funds of $20,000 each had already been established at Kwantlen Polytechnic University British Columbia, Canada, generating two annual scholarships. These annual scholarships will be awarded forever.
